Exciting news! Thornton Township is launching a series of Gas Giveaways in 17 communities. As part of our commitment to improving the quality of life for our residents, we’re giving back a portion of their tax dollars by providing free gas. To participate, simply show proof of residency at one of the events. Dates and locations will be posted on our social media pages. Contact us at 708-596-6040 ext 3219 for more information. We’re thrilled to support our community and alleviate some of the financial strain caused by high gas prices. Thank you for being a valued member of Thornton Township!

After School Program

Are you a parent searching for an engaging after-school program for your child in grade 3 and up? Look no further than Thornton Township’s After School Program! Our program provides a safe and educational environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential.

Our classes are held Monday through Friday from 3pm to 7pm, providing ample opportunity for students to learn and engage with their peers.

Registration is open now, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to enroll your child in our program. At Thornton Township’s, we’re committed to empowering our youth and investing in their futures. We believe that every child deserves the chance to succeed, and we’re proud to be part of a community that values and invests in its youth.

Veterans Day

Calling all residents! Join Thornton Township Supervisor Tiffany A. Henyard and the board of trustees in honoring our veterans at Thornton Township Hall on Saturday, November 12th, from 11 am to 1 pm. There will be a delicious luncheon, music, and other festivities to celebrate our brave heroes. We are incredibly grateful for their service and sacrifice for our country. Make sure to RSVP, so we have enough food for you! Let’s come together as a community to show appreciation for those who have fought for our freedom.

End of Year Bike Ride

Join Supervisor Henyard and the board of trustees for a community end-of-the year bike ride on November 10th from 5pm to 7pm. We’ll be having food, drinks, music and more! Bring your family and friends along too! See you there!
